I'm Josh Barnes, the founder of Church Academy. My journey in ministry began at the age of 12, and by 16, I was already diving into leadership roles. While some may have raised eyebrows at my age, I was fortunate to have a dedicated team by my side, and together, we became a beacon of light in our community.

Throughout the years, I've worn many hats - from serving as the tech lead to leading the youth ministry. One of my proudest achievements was revitalizing our church's branding and online presence, which helped us cultivate a following of over 1500 in our small town.

When I'm not busy with Church Academy, you'll find me cherishing moments with my wife and our adorable son. Oh, and did I mention I'm a loyal supporter of Huddersfield Town? I'm practically a fixture at their matches as a season ticket holder.

Having studied media and marketing at university, I've developed a passion for leveraging these skills to support churches across the UK. That's what inspired me to create Church Academy - a platform dedicated to empowering churches to thrive and grow.
